As with any new vinyl or new machine before jumping straight to your main product you should do a test.
What side do you cut on ht vinyl.
Take a moment to cut a design and see if it has worked.
Htv has a clear plastic carrier sheet that covers the top of the vinyl and the other side is where the heat sensitive adhesive is it is not sticky or tacky to the touch.
Now you are ready to cut and can click make it.
Just toggle the mirror button on the left hand side to do this.
For iron on however you want to mirror your design.
For this silhouette cameo project we want to pick vinyl matte if you re working with oracal 631 or vinyl glossy if you re working with the more popular oracal 651.
Cut with the carrier side down and the adhesive side up.
The carrier sheet is sticky and holds the vinyl in place while you cut.
We use cricut cutting machines but you can also use a silhouette cameo 4 or brother sdx125 for example.
Click the send button along the top tool bar.
Go to your cut settings window and double check that you are set to cut with heat transfer vinyl smooth.

Pick a side of the sheet that you suspect might be the cut side e g the white side of the sheet of red htv.
Heat transfer vinyl usually comes on a carrier sheet.
This will open the send panel.
Sometimes that is pretty easy to determine and sometimes it may not be so easy.
